This year, I told Cody I wanted to do something a little different. Don't get me wrong...I had a blast bar hopping with everyone last year. But I really just wanted to do something with just the 2 of us (and obviously, I can't drink). It's not going to be just the 2 of us for much longer so I want to take advantage of these next couple months of spending quality time together doing the things we love.
So, Cody booked us a pet friendly cabin at East Lake. Since it's a perfect place for Cody to do some fly fishing, we figure we will probably rent a pontoon boat so I can relax and he can fish. As for Roxy....well, we will see how this goes! My guess is that we won't be able to keep her in the boat!
After our crummy weekend this weekend which started out with a busted out car window Friday night, I hope next weekend brings us a little birthday luck.
